Franz Werner
Franz Werner has been working as a researcher with a focus on assisting technologies since 2006. He has conducted numerous national and international applied research projects in this field and is the author of numerous specialist conference and journal publications. He leads the master program Health Assisting Engineering at the FH Campus Wien, which focuses on assisting and rehabilitation technologies as well as on the continuing education program Telerehabilitation. His main areas of interest are human-machine interaction and participatory design and evaluation methods.
Klaus Widhalm
Klaus Widhalm is a physiotherapist and head of the movement laboratory at the FH Campus Wien. He has a profound clinical and scientific expertise in the fields of movement control, degenerative musculoskeletal symptoms and motor re-education. Under his leadership, several thematically relevant R&D projects have already been carried out at the FH Campus Wien.
Peter Putz
Peter Putz is a sports and nutrition scientist with profound know-how in quantitative research and systematic literature reviews. Besides project management skills, he has experience in planning, conducting and evaluating observational and experimental human studies as well as retrospective data analyses from national and international research projects.
Lukas Maul
Lukas Maul has a degree in physiotherapy and engineering as well as practical experience in medical technology research and development. He combines these worlds as a researcher on the ‘Health Assisting Engineering’ degree programme. He is involved in applied research and development projects and teaches functional anatomy and biomechanics.
Harald Penasso
Harald Penasso is a sports scientist with a background in natural sciences and data science and has extensive experience in the fields of movement science, biomechanics and physiology with a focus on movement analysis and kinetic performance diagnostics. He combines his research and clinical experience to develop evidence-based, individualised methods for practice.
Sebastian Durstberger
Sebastian Durstberger has been working in clinical motion analysis since graduating as a biomedical engineer. His special expertise lies in automated data processing and data preparation. In particular, he is concerned with the standardization and optimization of the acquisition and processing of motion data with regard to validity and quality.
