On March 28/29, 2025, the 5th GAMMA Congress of the Society for the Analysis of Human Motor Function and its Clinical Application took place in St. Gallen (Switzerland). It was organized by the team of the Eastern Switzerland Children’s Hospital.
The congress focused on current findings and developments in the analysis of human movement and its clinical application. Around 150 professionals from medicine, technology, and therapy across the German-speaking region attended and used the opportunity for interdisciplinary exchange.
As part of the event, Klaus Widhalm presented results from the SETT project. The presentation served as a starting point for further discussions on the practical use of movement analysis. Informal exchange was also an important aspect of the congress. In conversations with colleagues from Eastern Austria – including the Orthopaedic Hospital Speising, the ISW of the University of Vienna, St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences, Technikum Wien, and FH Campus Wien – connections were strengthened and shared interests explored.
The abstract of the presentation is available as an Open Access publication and offers insight into the project’s content.
Best regards,
