From September 21 to 23, 2023, we participated in the annual conference of the “European Society for Movement Analysis in Adults and Children” in Athens. There, we presented two posters with preliminary results from our research:
“Preliminary data of a 3D single-limb squat assessment of laterality in exercise-proficient physiotherapists” Link to Abstract.
“Preliminary data of kinematics and kinetics of forward lunge in exercise-proficient individuals: Does dominant vs. non-dominant leg matter?” Link to Abstract.
Our investigations aimed to determine whether there are differences in the execution of exercises depending on whether they are performed with the dominant or non-dominant side. Specifically, we analyzed the data of physiotherapists. As expected, we found no significant differences in this group.
These findings are crucial for the further development of our prototype and determining customization options. We look forward to sharing the complete results and initial insights into the prototype’s functionality next year.
